Since January 2016, a fascinating concept termed ‘Hamacland’ has been introduced to the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. A floating lounge which is mesmeric in proportion and which is also meant to replicate a private island has been installed on the waters that surround this luxury hotel. Doha getaways are more memorable at The Lounge which measures thirteen square metres and can be accessed by adults and children over the age of twelve. The concept is not completely new, a lounge of this kind was first installed in the Mediterranean Sea at La Presqu’île de Giens in France.
